Thank God I’m a Country Girl

See that there barn?  I married into that, bitches.  Yes, that’s my in-laws’ farm, and no, I can’t wait to get there later today for a week of down-home fun.  Now, I know it doesn’t have a view of Central Park, and it’s not oceanfront, and – hell, it’s not even close to a Target.  But it does have 100 acres of fields, woods, cows, old cars, and a stray pig named Rocket (whom I cannot wait to meet).  It’s also only 100 miles away from Ms. Bowling F. Dollars, who is gonna go eat God’s pizza with me at Big Ed’s in my hometown of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  I may or may not be around this week.  The internet situation seems like it might be a little…sketchy up on Signal Mountain (who would’ve thought?).  Anyway, I hope to be back soon, with pictures of Rocket, hay lofts, baby cows, the world’s biggest garage, and old tractors.  Be good now, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.  I’ll talk at you later.

Man, a place like that looks like heaven to me. Maybe in my next life (but only if I’m really, really good from here on out).

    Have fun!
